My previous corporate jobs include business development, operations management, sales, and marketing management, product development, web, and app development, technical support, customer support, administrative management, and head of management. I can call myself a coach but I’d rather be called an experienced trainer and mentor to different types of professionals. I am proud of all these because we are still connected and my trainees became very successful.
While leading different teams or groups of professionals, this also provided a chance for me to improve my skills and learn more. I became skilled or tech-savvy as people call it. Even before the pandemic strikes, I was already a VA in different ways. Part of my major responsibilities is to work closely with the Executives, President, CEO, COO, and myself as CMO to determine budgets and targets as well as manage profitability and results. Also, I work closely with business partners from different parts of Asia and the Pacific. Collaborating with not only clients but also to third-party affiliate partners and even competitors.
I used to manage both B2B and B2C customers. From building the product to implementing it, from marketing to selling, from engaging to retaining, I was hands-on. For 11+ years, this was my routine. Until I decided to pivot and become a Service-based entrepreneur. Using and sharing my hard-earned skills and leadership skills with my future clients who will trust me. And give me the power to help make their business successful without breaking the bank.
So do I have the right to call myself a coach, tech-savvy, or VA? It’s up to you, whoever is reading this. But one thing’s for sure, I already got the experience even before I officially launched my start-up business. I am a start-up.

My two cents:
If you are a business coach or life coach, and not tech-savvy, partner with one.
If you are tech-savvy and want to sell your services, get a coach.
If you are tech-savvy or a coach, and not a start-up but rather on to your way to expanding your business, get a VA.

Having a support system is very important for me. With your family, friends, and colleagues supporting your passion and dreams, you can always have the courage to face every failure along the way. Same with having a support group on Social Media like Facebook and LinkedIn, sharing your thoughts and curiosity with business-minded people means a lot as well. You not only gain, more ahhh-s, more I seee-s, more really-s but you can always have an answer to your questions anytime, anywhere.
