Shibuya Crossing, or Shibuya Scramble Crossing, is a popular intersection in Tokyo, Japan. It’s busy as usual. But despite the human scramble, what makes it so attractive, and why most people appreciate its beauty? Some cities truly reveal their beauty at night. Tokyo is probably one of them, especially, this place, Shibuya Scramble Crossing. It is located in front of the Shibuya Station Hachiko? exit. It stops vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection. Thousands of people at the Shibuya Scramble Crossing is always a stunning sight to see. It is definitely in the breath between cars and human scrambles. This iconic landmark in Tokyo is known as the world’s busiest intersection. This place appears to have natural beauty and is proportional. As a result, it’s pleasing to the human eye.

The seemingly endless flow of people using the intersection is remarkable to watch. You can observe this moment of organized chaos from building windows around the crossing. Popular chains like Forever 21 and Uniqlo have large branches here, as well as the iconic Shibuya 109 and 109 Men’s malls. Shibuya Scramble Crossing is also a symbol of Tokyo. It’s a hotspot for everyone including films that it was made as the perfect backdrop for Hollywood films like Lost in Translation (2003) and The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006). Meanwhile, many people compare the Shibuya Crossing to New York City’s Times Square. According to “DontPlayAHate”, Times Square cannot beat the 3000 people per green light at Shibuya.

Last year, in November 2019, A new landmark in Tokyo called “Shibuya Scramble Square” was completed and opened to the public. It’s a 230-meter tall high-rise building comprising shopping and dining complemented with entertainment facilities overlooking the Shibuya Scramble Crossing.

A specific interesting place in the tower is the “Shibuya Sky”. An observation deck that offers a 360-degree view over Tokyo at the roof deck of Shibuya Scramble Square. It spans three floors that display interactive exhibitions to encourage you to see the city in a different way. The 47-story building also locates high-end brands such as “Valentino”, “Tiffany & Co.” and “Bvlgari” located on the third floor, which is directly connected to the Tokyo Metro Ginza lines.
